The Zenfone 2 is the world’s first smartphone to equip with a whopping 4GB RAM. Zenfone 2 features a 5.5-inch 1920x1280p full HD IPS display with a wide 178-degree viewing angle. The display features a narrow 3.3mm bezel that gives the device a 72% screen-to-body ratio. Like its predecessor, Zenfone 2 also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The ZenFone 2 is powered by an up to 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core processor and has 4GB RAM to convey up to seven times quicker gaming execution than its predecessor.

The device also features 2.3GHz Intel Atom processor and seems to be all set to take over the likes of Xiaomi and other companies who sell their phones via flash sales. The ZenFone 2 will come in Osmium Black, Sheer Gold, Glacier Gray, Glamor Red and Ceramic White hues. Estimating begins at $199 globally.

ASUS has expanded its portfolio of Android tablets with the launch of a new MeMO Pad series slate. The company has introduced the ASUS MeMO Pad 10 ME103K running Android 4.4 KitKat with the company’s ZenUI on top.

ASUS hasn’t yet revealed the price of the tablet, but it was recently listed on an European retail store with a price tag of 199 Euros, approximately Rs 15,400. However, speculations suggest that it could sell for around $199 outside Europe, making it a budget-friendly device at around Rs 12,100.

Asus has announced that it is finally ready to release the Zenfone 4 A450CG smartphone in the Indian market. The phone was unveiled in the India along with other Zenfone smartphones in early-July.

The phone will be sold at INR 6,999 in Red, Black, White, Blue and Yellow colour options. It will be competing with Xiaomi’s Redmi 1S smartphone, whose availability details will become clear on August 25, when the company is hosting a press meet in Bangalore.

Asus on Thursday launched the Fonepad 7 (FE170CG) tablet in India for Rs. 8,999. The device was introduced in April and was first released in Thailand at THB 4190 (roughly Rs. 7,670) in May.

The tablet sports a 7-inch twisted nematic display and powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Clover Trail Plus Z2520 processor and 1GB RAM, the Fonepad 7 comes with 4GB internal storage expandable up to 64GB. Fonepad 7 runs Android 4.3 with Asus Zen UI running on top. The company has promised a software update bringing Android 4.4 KitKat. It sports a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera, and comes with a 3950mAh battery.

Asus has launched three new smartphones in India, the Asus ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5, and ZenFone 6.

The ZenFone 4 comes in two variants, with the 4-inch (A400CG) model priced at Rs. 5,999, and the 4.5-inch (A450CG) model at Rs. 6,999. The ZenFone 5 (8GB) has been priced at Rs. 9,999, while the 16GB storage variant pricing has not yet been revealed. The ZenFone 6 has been priced at Rs. 16,999 for its 16GB storage variant.

The Asus ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 also come with a ‘PixelMaster’ camera technology that includes a set of features such as Selfie Mode and Depth of Field Mode, Low Light Mode and Time Rewind to deliver what Asus calls an enhanced image capturing experience. ASUS has also added a ‘Genie’ feature on the Zenfones which, similar to Google Now, gives you contextual updates based on your usage habits and patterns.
