Verizon Wireless and Motorola confirmed the incoming DROID Turbo smartphone for Verizon Wireless with event announcements set for October 28th, as well as the launch of the DroidDoes.com website.

The information regarding the Droid Turbo release date surfaced online courtesy of @motofirmware. It looks like the new smartphone will launch October 30th and if the reports prove true, then the retail stores already have the device in stock.

It seems that the handset will feature a Quad HD (1440 x 2560) resolution display and that it will be underpinned by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset with quad-core 2.65 GHz Krait 450 CPU and Adreno 420 GPU. The rumored technical specifications list also includes 32 GB of RAM, 32 GB of native storage, 20 MP primary shooter, and 2 MP selfie camera. The device will most likely run Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box, but it will no doubt get updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop as soon as Motorola and Verizon optimize the new Android version for it.

Google Nexus 6 price and availability details have been confirmed by Motorola and Google. Nexus 6 release is confirmed in an announcement alongside the Nexus 9 and Android 5.0 Lollipop update.

The Motorola-built smartphone isn’t just Google’s biggest phone to date, is packed with quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM and a 3,220mAh battery, which the firm claims will last for at least a full day.

Motorola and Google both have said in their reports that the Nexus 6 will be accessible for pre order through the Google Play Store which will start from late October and they will start shipping the products in November. But T Mobile was more precise in this and have said that they will release it on November 12. Motorola has further said that the Nexus 6 will be available in 28 countries.

Motorola announced Sunday that the next-generation Moto X smartphone and Moto Hint Bluetooth earpiece will be available for preorder on Tuesday.

If you’re willing to spend additional cash, the tech company will also offer the unlocked version via its official website at Motorola.com. This handset version called ‘pure edition’ is compatible with any SIM cards including T-Mobile, prepaid SIM cards and other cards from other countries. The unlocked Moto X is sporting the price tag of $499.99 for the base model with 16GB of local storage.

Motorola also announced that the Moto 360 will once again be available for purchase in the United States via their website.

The new Moto Maker for the 2nd-generation handset will finally support leather aside from wood, and the site will feature a new ‘rendering engine’ which features better ‘feel’ .

Motorola is expected to announce successors to popular Moto G and Moto X smartphones at its launch event in New Delhi, India on Friday. Motorola’s much-awaited Moto 360 smartwatch is set to be launched today. Motorola will host the main event on September 4, 2014 in Chicago, with the India launch on 5th September in Delhi, followed by Mumbai on the 10th of September.

The new Moto G (16GB) is priced at Rs 12,999. It is available in India starting today and its Rs 1000 less than its predecessor. The new Moto G (16GB) goes on sale on Flipkart from today.

The Moto G successor is expected to have 5 inch screen and 8MP camera. It will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, 16GB storage and run on latest Android KitKat. Last week, photos of the phone were also leaked that seconded the 5 inch screen.

According to the user who posted an image of the alleged Moto G successor’s box packaging, the device will be called “just the Moto G or maybe ‘New Moto G’.

Earlier to this the smartphone was noticed on an Indian import manifest indicating that India can be one of many first markets the place the telephone can be launched. While the system was earlier known as the Moto G2.

Motorola’s handset ‘Shamu’ that is rumoured to be Google’s Nexus X was spotted on an Indian import/ export manifest site.

Motorola has begun sending out press invites for its event on September 5th in India. The invite says to “Mark 05 September on your calendar.” The event will be held in New Delhi. The invite uses the same colors and design as the invite for the September 4th event in the US where we expect the Moto X+1, Moto G2 and the Moto 360 smartwatch to be launched alongwith some Bluetooth accessories.

Motorola may not have revealed any details; though, the two smartphones that are expected to be launched first at the September 4 event are the successors to the popular Moto X and Moto G – rumoured to be called the Moto X+1 and Moto G2 respectively.

The successor of Motorola Moto G, rumored as Moto G2 and Moto G+1, should be available for purchase on September 10. Dual-SIM Moto G with 5″ display will begin shipping to retailers on September 10. Some lucky retailers will be able to get the first batch of Moto G2 phones as early as the end of August, but it’s unclear if they will be allowed to sell it before September 10.

Motorola and Flipkart have slashed the prices of the Moto G by Rs. 2,000 in India for a limited period. The Moto G 8GB variant is now priced at Rs. 10,499 (down from Rs. 12,499), while the Moto G 16GB variant is now priced at Rs. 11,999 (down from Rs. 13,999).

The discounted price will apply only to limited stocks of the device, which means it probably won’t stay long.
