Does Nokia’s X smartphone have what it takes to
by [email protected] · March 25, 2014
- Play Store – Nokia X smartphone’s Android version based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for starters does not support the play store
- Imaging – Imagery on the Nokia X is clear and sharp enough for everyday use but the one on the Moto G boasts of rich, bright colours and vibrant contrasts.
- RAM – It lags behind in other aspects. RAM is 512MB and other Android devices in the price range feature a 1GB RAM
Great Debate moderator Larry Dignan and the masses think Nokia and Microsoft made the right decision going with a customized Android experience. I lost this week’s ZDNet Great Debate, but even with Steven J. Vaughan-Nichols’ strong arguments I remain unconvinced it is the right thing to do at this time.
