HTC launched Butterfly 2 With Snapdragon 801 SOC & 5 Inch FHD Display
HTC has launched its Butterfly 2 smartphone for the Asian markets. The device was previously launched for Japan and now to be available for Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. The smartphone will be available for South Asia starting on September 2 in Taiwan and gradually to be rolled-out into the above countries.
The single-SIM HTC Butterfly 2 smartphone is the successor to the HTC Butterfly launched last year at Rs. 49,990 in India. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and features a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It packs a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 2GB RAM.
