Huawei launched Ascend Mate 7 with Fingerprint Scanner and Octa-Core SoC
Huawei at its pre-IFA 2014 event on Thursday has launched a new phablet – the Ascend Mate 7. It will be available in more than 30 countries/territories including mainland China, Hong Kong, UK, Germany, Italy, France and Spain from Q3 2014.
Huawei introduced a fingerprint scanner at the back that works more like the one on the iPhone 5S, and Huawei promises that a very high scanning resolution will cut down on the need for re-swipes, making it convenient to use.
