HTC is expected to launch Desire 820 smartphone in India on September 23
HTC is sending out media invites for an event on September 23 where it is expected to launch Desire 820 in India. The midrange phone was announced this month at IFA in Berlin, Germany.
At IFA 2014 this month, HTC has officially announced Desire 820, as the company’s first smartphone model to feature a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with integrated 4G LTE Cat.4 connectivity option. HTC Desire 820 features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. The smartphone packs a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC (1.5GHz quad-core + 1.0GHz quad-core) coupled with 2GB of RAM. Packs a 13-megapixel (with f/2.2 lens) rear facing camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, apart from an 8MP secondary front-facing camera. The smartphone comes with 16GB of internal phone storage, which can further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card support. It measures 157.7×78.74×7.74mm and weighs 155 grams.
The phablet will be available in multiple colours like red, pink, blue, white and black. It also supports HTC’s Dot View case that offers instant access to your device without the need to open the cover.
