Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition got a price cut, now available at $449

Sony have reduced the price of Z Ultra Google Play edition by $200. The phone is now retailing for just $449 at Google Play in the United States.
The Sony Xperia Z Ultra offers up a 6.4 inch 1080p HD display (342 ppi), 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 16GB storage, 2GB RAM, 8 megapixel camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, microSD card slot, and 3,000 mAh battery.
The Z Ultra Play edition is also waterproof, though that doesn’t show on its girth, at just 6.5 millimeters across. Overall, the device looks like a great choice for anyone pining for a large smartphone or a compact tablet.
This version of the phone is unlocked with support for almost all GSM/LTE networks, including T-Mobile and AT&T in the US.
There are no sale dates listed on the Google Play store page, so this might be a permanent price reduction.
