Apple today announced OS X Yosemite, a powerful new version of OS X redesigned and refined with a fresh, modern look, powerful new apps and amazing new continuity features that make working across your Mac and iOS devices more fluid than ever.
New OS X Yosemite is featured with :
- New View in Notification Center gives you a quick look
- iCloud Drive is located within the Finder
- Safari has a new streamlined design
- Mail makes editing and sending attachments easier
- Handoff lets you start an activity on one device and pass it to the other
- Instant Hotspot makes using your iPhone’s hotspot
- Gives you the ability to make iPhone calls on your Mac

The new operating system will feature interactive notifications that allow you to pull down and reply from right where you are on your screen. The handy new tool works for all notifications, including alerts from your Calendar, Facebook updates, or text messages. Apple calls these Interactive Notifications, a form of which is also available on Google’s Android operating system. Apple has reinvented the mobile phone with its revolutionary iPhone and App Store, and is defining the future of mobile media and computing devices with iPad.
