Airtel launched 4G Mobile Internet Services in Kolkata

Bharti Airtel launched 4G services on mobile in Kolkata with plans for pre-paid customers starting at Rs 42.

Bharti Airtel said -

“With the roll-out of Airtel 4G services on mobile, customers can experience an all new electrifying Internet browsing experience anytime, anywhere.”

Customers can now walk into Airtel stores at Salt Lake City Center 1, Park Street, Golpark and Dr. UN Brahmachari Street to experience LIVE demos and get started on 4G.

Airtel’s 4G on mobile services’ can be experienced in Kolkata on smartphones such as iPhone 5S, 5C, LG G2 and Xolo LT 900. The company has already launched such high-speed 4G data services on mobile in cities such as Bangalore and Chandigarh.

Provides download speeds of around 100 Mbps.
Bollywood movie of 650 to 750MB size can be downloaded in seconds.
Starting with Rs 42.
Special pack of Rs 999 for Postpaid and Rs 995 for Prepaid will offer 10 GB of data.
Voice calls will be routed on 2G seamlessly with the CSFB.
