Google Nexus 8 expected to revealed at Google I/O Banner
by [email protected] · May 27, 2014
Google is expected to make several announcements at the Google I/O on June 25-26 and it could very well also unveil the Nexus 8. A banner on the Google I/O website features an unidentified tablet, which could very well be the Nexus 8.
Nexus 8 will feature a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, and we are expecting the device to come with a quad core processor, possibly a Snapdragon 801 and also at least 2GB of RAM and is rumored to either retail for $349 or $399.
There are tiny speaker grills embedded at the top and bottom portion of the device. In fact if anything, the design of this tablet is reminiscent of HTC’s design of their phones, which coincidentally enough is in line with the rumors that HTC could be the company Google tasked for the Nexus 8.
In addition to the Nexus 8, Google is also said to be working on an 8.9-inch Nexus tablet which could boast better than 2K display. The search giant is also expected to release Android 4.5 at the I/O.
