Xiaomi to launch Mi 4 with Metal Chassis on July 22 in China
Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of its next flagship smartphone and the successor to its flagship Mi 3 smartphone, thought to be called the Mi 4, later this month. The company has slowly and steadily started teasing the launch event. The event will revolve around the story about “The journey of a piece of steel metal.”
Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun posted a teaser image on his official Weibo account, the Chinese equivalent of twitter, unveiling a July 22 launch date and a large numeric four on the invite, which comes to show that the launch will be of the anticipated Mi 4. This will soon came afterward by Xiaomi’s co-founder and president, Bin Lin, who went on Facebopok and posted a similar teaser. He also stated that July 22nd, Xiaomi’s annual product launch event.
A photograph of the unannounced Xiaomi Mi4 in both black and white is shown off, and with this latest leak of the high-end handset shows the front panel and the phone right on the assembly line.

Xiaomi will officially launch its Mi3 smartphone in India on July 15. Priced at Rs. 14,999 for a 16GB version and is likely to be retailed via FlipKart. On July 22, Xiaomi Mi4 will be announced in China.
